Why the badge?

A badge means we checked who they are and what they're allowed to do. That's it. No badge, no posting.

A badge says what Goodo checked, and when. It is not an endorsement, a quality rating or a guarantee about a person's conduct or services.

See what each badge checks

How it works, in three steps

  1. Join and say who you are.

Pick your role. Participant, carer, worker, coordinator, plan manager, allied health. Takes a minute.

  2. We check.

Usually a day. Three business days at most. Then your badge shows what we checked, so nobody has to take your word for it.

  3. Watch, post, join, ask, answer.

    Normal social media, abnormal company.

Fair questions

What is Goodo?

Goodo is social media for the NDIS community. Short videos, groups, events and straight answers from participants, families, support workers and providers, and everyone's verified, so you know who you're talking to. Got a question? Ask it and a plan manager, support coordinator, support worker or allied health pro can answer on video. Public answers become web pages anyone can watch, with a transcript. Goodo is in private beta.

Who answers my question?

People who do this for a living and have been checked: plan managers, support coordinators, support workers, allied health professionals and registered providers. The badge on each answer says what we checked and when. It's not an endorsement or a guarantee.

Is an answer on Goodo advice?

No. An answer is general information from one person. Every answer carries the line "Check with the NDIA or your planner before acting on this." Goodo doesn't tell you what your plan should contain, and it's not a substitute for the NDIA, your planner or an independent advocate.

Can I keep my question private?

Yes. Choose private and only verified providers can see your question. Choose public and, once it's answered, it can become a page that other people find. Leave out names, addresses and NDIS numbers either way.

Does it cost anything?

Goodo is designed to be free for participants and carers, with no ads. We don't take referral fees from providers, and paid promotion is always labelled.

When can I get the app?

The app is in private beta. Get on the list and we'll email you when your area opens. We're letting people in one area at a time, starting in Greater Sydney.
